Welcome to Bambino’s Kindergarten Bowral Street – Bowral! We are open from 7am to 6pm and cater for children from birth to 6 years.

As part of our service, we provide nutritious meals for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. As we understand different children have different dietary requirements, we have our very own cook who prepares meals tailored to your child’s needs. We like to promote positive attitudes towards food and we do this through positive encouragement and active discussions about healthy eating habits.

Here at Bambino’s Kindergarten Bowral Street, we are always looking at different ways that we can give back to our environment. Our Sustainability Plan utilises different aspects of our daily operations to make sure we limit out impact on the environment. The children can assist in our vegetable garden to grow and nurture wholesome foods that can be used in their own meals. We also aim to purchase less packaging, reuse packaging we do have and use it for craft materials.

My career in the Early Childhood Industry sector began in 2012. In 2017 I continued my study pathways to obtain my Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to 5 years) degree at Charles Sturt University. During my career, I have worked in a range of roles including an Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader.

My passion in Early Childhood began in my high schooling years. This passion continued through into my adult life where i undertaken study options to enhance my knowledge and understanding of the Early Years. I enjoy researching and furthering my own knowledge, particularly based around topics of interest. This allows me to keep up to date with current research which guides my programming approach and understanding of child development.

Bambino’s Kindergarten Bowral Street offers a family home style setting. Educators understand and support children’s learning and development by providing high quality learning opportunities through play-based learning approaches. These environments allow children to imagine, create, explore and construct. Educators place a high emphasis on their relationships with children, ensuring each child feels safe, secure and supported within the service.

Our educators place a high value on the understanding of children’s families being paramount to children’s learning and development. We understand each family is unique, with different beliefs, culture and family traditions. We welcome family input and centre participation from our families, in whatever way our families feel most comfortable.

Both our children settled in after day one (!!) and are so content with their new centre. The educators are so warm and make a special effort to accommodate individual needs – our son (2.5) loves to cook so they have done a session cooking muffins, and our daughter (1) has a dairy allergy for which they have gone over and above to accommodate her. The educators have a great balance between structured and unstructured activity. “I can’t recommend Bambinos Bowral Street enough. The staff are very caring and nurturing towards our daughter. It is wonderful that the children have nutritious meals prepared daily on site. Bambinos Bowral Street also supply nappies; 1 less thing I have to think of when preparing for the day. Lastly I love the fact that this daycare has a pre school curriculum along with long daycare hours!! And are only closed public holidays and weekends therefore no need to worry about care in the school holidays. My husband and I are so happy with the centre that next year our newborn will be attending. “We have 2 boys attending the centre and they both absolutely love all the staff and their friends. Our eldest has been attending since April 2013 and we were so excited to start sending our youngest this year. Our son was recently reviewed by a peadiatric team and they were amazed at the curriculum Bambinos provides… Working on fine and gross motor skills through play and structured activities that encourage the children to learn and grow while having fun in a social environment at the same time. The parents are asked to provide the educators with goals for their child for the year and they tailor the daily activities to these. This is just one example of how they strive to give each child a special and individual experience based on their needs/ likes/ wants. We could not be happier with our choice of child care for our boys and highly recommend the centre to all families looking for an individual service with a real sense of community.
